Step 3: Manage General Ledger Accounts in a Consolidation
In this step, General Ledger Accounts are imported, reviewed, and mapped within the Consolidation Dossier.
Import General Ledger Accounts with Balances (Required)
Step 1: Import and Split Accounts
Go to:
Main Menu → Consolidation → General Ledger Settings

Select Show Existing Accounts in the Consolidation.

Select Accounts with Transactions.

Enable Automatically Split Accounts.

Click the button to Import the Accounts.

Click Update Consolidation.
Step 2: Map General Ledger Accounts
Go to:
Main Menu → Data → Manage and Organize → Structure Mapping

In the red notification on the right, click Automatically Place Accounts in the Structure.

Review the mapping.

Manually drag accounts to the correct groups where necessary.

Rename accounts if required.
Verify the reports (Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statement) to ensure:

Amounts appear on the correct side.

The report structure is logical.
Step 3: Apply the Report Structure

Apply the standard Report Structure to all underlying entities.

Also apply any custom Report Structures if applicable.
Import General Ledger Accounts Without Balances (Optional)
Step 4: Import Empty Accounts
Go to:
Main Menu → Data → Manage and Organize → Structure Mapping
Under Accounts:
- Select Accounts Without Balances (Balance = 0).
Step 5: Group Empty Accounts
In the Structure section:
- Select Move Accounts Without Transactions to !NM (Not Mapped).
This places all empty accounts into a single !NM group.
Check Account 99999
Go to:
Main Menu → Data → Manage and Organize → General Ledger Accounts
Verify that Account 99999 - Profit for the Year and Differences exists.
If necessary:

Add the account.

Map it to M250500 - Other Reserves.

Update the Import Sets again.
