Factview Grid
Many overviews in Factview are displayed using a Grid. A Grid allows you to sort, filter, and customize which columns are visible.
Grid Overview
The image below shows an example of a Grid in Factview.
Data is displayed in columns. For almost every column, you can open additional options by clicking the three dots next to the column header.

From this menu, you can customize the Grid.

Use the sorting options to quickly organize the data.
Available options:
-
Sort Ascending - Sorts data from A to Z or from lowest to highest.
-
Sort Descending - Sorts data from Z to A or from highest to lowest.
-
Clear Sort - Removes the active sort order.
Customize Columns
The remaining options allow you to customize the appearance of the Grid.
Pin Column
Pins the selected column to the left side of the Grid so that it remains visible while scrolling horizontally.

Auto-Size All Columns

Reorder Columns
You can change the order of the columns.
Click and hold a column header, drag it to the desired position, and release the mouse button to save the new order.
Reset Table
Restores the Grid to its original layout, including column widths and sorting.
Filtering
Use Filter to display only the data that matches specific criteria.
This makes it easier to find the information you are looking for.
Show or Hide Columns
Use the Columns option to choose which columns are visible.
Select a column to display it or clear the checkbox to hide it.
This allows you to customize the Grid to suit your preferences.
Saved Settings
Factview automatically saves changes made to the Grid.
The following settings are remembered:
-
Column order.
-
Visible and hidden columns.
-
Column widths.
-
Sorting.
-
Pinned columns.
This means you do not have to reconfigure the Grid each time you open the overview.
Almost all tables in Factview use the same Grid. Once you know how to use the Column Menu, you can sort, filter, and customize columns in nearly every overview in the same way.
