Understanding a Sample Report
To use a report effectively, it is important to understand how it is structured.
To view the available reports, navigate to:
Main Menu → Open Reports → Factviews
Factviews
The Factviews screen contains a variety of reports organized into categories, including:

Financial Statements (displayed as a structure or table)

Dashboards
-
Multi-Year Dashboards
-
General Ledger Reports
-
Other Reports
Select any report, for example a Profit and Loss Statement.
Report Structure
This report displays the Profit and Loss Statement for the selected financial year.
Description
The Description column displays the different sections of the Profit and Loss Statement, such as revenue, expenses, and their underlying categories.
Monthly Columns
The monthly columns display the actual figures for the selected financial year.
This allows you to analyze how income and expenses develop throughout the year.
Total Rows
The total rows display the combined amount of the underlying items, providing a quick overview of total revenue and expenses.
Report Menu
Below the report tabs, you will find several menu options:

Data Menu
These menus allow you to customize the report, for example by adding columns, applying filters, or modifying the report structure.
