User Management

Overview

Factview includes a User Management menu for managing access to a specific dossier.

Navigate to:

Dossier Name → Manage All Cases

From this menu, you can:

  • Add users to the dossier.

  • Manage user permissions.

  • Block users from accessing the dossier.

The ability to add additional users depends on your Factview subscription.

User Overview​

This screen displays all users who have access to the dossier. Each user is listed on a separate row.

The permissions assigned to each user are shown alongside their name.

Permission Types

Dossier Owner​

Yes (green check mark) / No (red cross)

Dossier Owners have the highest level of access. They can manage the permissions of Administrators and View-Only Users.

Administrator Rights​

Yes / No

Administrators have access to all menu items and can manage the permissions of View-Only Users.

Dossier Access​

Yes / No

Indicates whether the user has access to the dossier or has been blocked.

Active Session​

Yes / No

Indicates whether the user is currently logged in to the dossier.
