Standard Excel Report (Excelview)​

The Standard Excel Report (Excelview) in Factview allows financial data to be exported and analyzed in Microsoft Excel.

This report includes additional functionality to provide deeper insight into trends and developments across multiple years.

Multi-Year Overview

Within the Excelview, figures from multiple fiscal years can be displayed side by side.

  • Data is presented on a yearly basis.

  • Comparisons between years are immediately visible.

  • Ideal for trend analysis and reporting.

This provides a clear overview of how revenue, expenses, and profit have developed over multiple years.

Additional Worksheets and Analyses

The Excel report includes additional worksheets containing extra information, such as:

  • Percentages (for example, margins)

  • Comparative figures

  • Additional financial analyses

These worksheets provide further insights beyond the standard financial figures.

Year-over-Year (YoY) Analysis

One of the key features of the report is the inclusion of Year-over-Year (YoY) metrics.

YoY analysis compares figures from different years by showing:

  • Differences in monetary values.

  • Differences as percentages.

This makes it easy to determine:

  • Whether performance has improved or declined.

  • The magnitude of the change compared to the previous year.
